What is the Confirmation Statement?
The confirmation statement is a statutory document that must be filed at Companies House every year. The Companies House reference for this document is the CS01. The document was first introduced in July 2016 and replaced the Annual Return.
The Confirmation Statement must be filed within 2 weeks of the anniversary of your company formation every year unless you have moved the filing date for this document. It is a ‘snap shot’ of your company structure at the time the document is filed.
